How to request a Zero Balance Letter for your Credit Builder Account

If you need a letter verifying that your Credit Builder Account is complete and paid off, email help@self.inc to request a “Zero Balance Letter.” Your account must be closed and paid off first though. 

What’s in this Zero Balance Letter? 

  • Account ID, loan number, and CD number
  • Original loan balance
  • Current balance
  • Loan status and account status  

For your security, we only send the letter to your email address on file. From there, you can forward it directly to anyone who needs access.
